Playlists

Serverless Playlists are a new type of building block for web3. You can load a pre indexed list of nfts with all the related info to point back to the nfts, without a server. Metaverse ready.

With serverless playlists anyone can make a playlist using a compatible playlist creator. Anyone can create a player that plays serverless playlists, because they're so simple.

Serverless Playlists are an important part in a decentralized autonomous music network (DAMN).

Easy To Make

Anyone can create a playlist when browsing and listening to music with The Contract Wizard. You can search any contract or wallet address, add any token from anywhere to a playlist. You can even add songs from different chains, and from Spinamp.

Private Until Publish

When you create a playlist it's private until you publish. When you publish a playlist, it gets uploaded to Arweave and becomes playable across the permaweb.

Before Publishing

Before publishing a playlist you should choose an image, and make any final changes. Adding custom tags could be cool for anything special you want to do. Adding a license like a UDL could be cool if you want to control access to the playlist itself. This isn't useful right now but will be in the future.

Once you're ready to publish your playlist, click the upload button.

After Publishing

Once you have published your playlist you'll see right away that you have buttons to play and share. You can also view the file itself, view the transaction data on the explorer, and view the file pinned to IPFS using an IPFS gateway that's possible because of tagging the file with it's content id.

The link to your published playlist is a public Arweave link and will be usable for many years to come. Now you can play your immutable playlist with an immutable player.
