Uploading Playlist

Uploading a playlist with The Contract Wizard is simple.

Select Playlist

Go to your created playlists, click the button with the 3 vertical dots for the playlist you want to upload. From there click "Upload Playlist". Then you will see the upload menu where you can review the playlist, make any final changes, and upload.

Before Publishing

Before publishing a playlist it's recommended that you choose an image, have a description, genre and tags. You can also set custom tags, and licenses.

The genre and audio tags are important for classifying your audio so it can be found when different terms are searched. This is essential because having genre and audio tags are the only way to start that base layer of curation.

Custom tags are there too. Adding a license like a UDL could be cool if you want to control access to the playlist itself.

Once you're ready to publish your playlist, click the upload button.

Currently files under 100kb are free.

After Publishing

Once your playlist is published, you can share it across the internet. It's stored permanently, and is easily discoverable because of the tags. Now you have an immutable playlist that can be played with immutable players.

The next steps are to build a way to rank the playlists so the best playlists and curators can be recognized. Now that you can search a particular genre, the tracks and playlists need to be able to be ranked and sorted.
